Next Step Connections internship program provides students and young professionals with guaranteed tailor-made business internships. Before you start the internship placement process, you must apply first and get accepted. During the placement process, you will be working with our program advisor who will organize interviews with our large network of firms in Asia.
Foreigners and locals alike are taking advantage of China’s and India's burgeoning economy, bringing into the table new business concepts and ideas. There is no arguing that China or India are the most important places when it comes to today’s business world. However, for those lacking the experience in those markets, a business internship will give you a deeper understanding about the customs and processes is duly required.
Participating in a business Internship typically involves working on different business areas such as business development, consulting, sales, human resources, sourcing, trading, export and supply chain management.
You will be involved with the daily operations of your host company and will find yourself attending important meetings, working on new projects and meeting clients. It is not uncommon to be given important responsibilities right from the beginning of your placement. You’ll be using your technical skills, but equally important, you’ll be utilizing your leadership and interpersonal skills to complete various business projects.
