Next Step Connections internship program provides students and young professionals with guaranteed tailor-made photography internships. Before you start the internship placement process, you must apply first and get accepted. During the placement process, you will be working with our program advisor who will organize interviews with our large network of firms in Asia.
Individuals interested in a career in photography should try to develop contacts in the field by subscribing to photographic newsletters and magazines, joining camera clubs, and seeking summer or part-time employment in camera stores, newspapers, or photo studios.
Past internship placements include working for a private photographer, a fashion studio or a well known publication. A typical day as a photograph intern starts around 9am and finishes around 5pm. You might spent your day outside the office on a specific assignment before coming back to do some photo editing. Your work will get published on a regular basis.
