As more and more students have ambition to differentiate themselves as they enter the workforce, an international internship has become a crucial stepping stone for students to distinguish themselves while building upon a skill set that will prepare and keep them competitive in the global workplace.
NSC develop solid relationships with the internship sites taking great care to select internship supervisors whose leadership encourages interns to identify a potential career path to keep them competitive in the global job market and begin the process of building a professional network in their career field. The internship experience allows you to shadow your supervisor during meetings, take on complex tasks, volunteer your services or skills to another department for a more comprehensive experience, develop your working style, and learn insights on your chosen career field.

Asia is a region set to lead the world as it becomes an increasingly important engine of growth leading the world out of the worst recession in over half a century.
On current trends, it is estimated that by 2030, Asia’s economy will be larger than that of the United States and European Union combined with the region’s share of world GDP swelling from a little under 30 percent closer to more than 40 percent.
Individuals from 25 different countries have participated in our internship program. All our program participants live together standing for a global community creating multicultural friendships and building a strong global network that they will use in the future. NSC organizes regular social events such as happy hours, charity events, dinners so that our participants can build connections and mingle outside their workplace.
"I am quite impressed with the organization and the experiences they offer. " Penny Loretto, Editor at About.com.
"My internship in China has shaped my future. Through this program I now know three things I didn't know before coming here: I want to go into digital planning, I want to work abroad, and I want to live in China. I could never have predicted any of those things in my life. This has been the best and most eye opening ten weeks and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I will always remember everything and everyone from this adventure and can't wait to see where the experience takes me next.".Meredith Boling, Chapman University, Marketing internship program, Next Stepper, Summer 2011.
