Time Monika L., again was featured on an article on Time. Monika is in a growing group of Americans interested in taking a gap year before college to explore the world to get some real world international life experiences. Her 14 month journey is going to take her to many places including India, and Shanghai, China. Gap years, which are more common among British and Australian students, is slowly becoming a popular option for American students. Monika will be participating in NSC's China internship program in Shanghai and will be an intern for a well known fashion designer.
