First NSC Scholarship granted to a young professional from California

As part of Next Step Connections commitment to help the next generation of future leaders take their first steps into their professional fields, NSC granted its first ever scholarship to Michelle Chan, a media and communications graduate from Pepperdine, California.
Michelle will start her internship at the beginning of March 2010 at SMG's new channel (ICS - International Channel Shanghai) which is China's second 24-hour TV channel to broadcast nationwide and completely in English after CCTV-9. SMG, is one of the world’s most powerful and influential Chinese-language media and entertainment groups.
