Next Step Connections- History
Next Step Connections Ltd was founded by Jerome Le Carrou, François Liot and Len Hayashi in October 2007 in Shanghai, China.
Next Step Connections aimed at creating a professional platform in China for students and young professional looking for new career opportunities.
NSC welcomed its first student at Pudong International Airport in Shanghai in February 2008. Originally from New York, this young and talented photojournalist did a three-month internship at China's premier newspaper: "China Daily".
In 2008, NSC welcomed 30 students and young professionals from Spain, France, Peru, Canada, South Korea and the United States.
SInce then, NSC has grown at a very fast pace. By the end of 2010, 300 students and young professionals would have had participated in a program with Next Step Connections.
In 2010/2011, Next Step Connections launched professional internship programs in Hong Kong and Beijing as well as the first ever Young Entrepreneur Program for students aged 15-18 years old.
