A guaranteed professional internship in Shanghai suiting your needs It includes internship follow-up, any required trouble-shooting, monthly reviews and coordination with the internship supervisor. Our core service is to place you at a company within your preferred industry. The internship process starts after receiving your application and ends after securing your internship placement at your chosen company. We will work with you throughout the whole process. If we are not able to place you at an internship that you have approved, you will receive a full refund.
At NSC, all our housing is located centrally in the heart of Shanghai. All our internship program participants stay in spacious apartments (100-140sqm) or studios which are within walking distance from main metro and bus connections.
We also provide
+A monthly cash stipend At the beginning of each month, you will be remitted a monthly cash allowance in local currency, enabling you to cover some of your daily expenses.+Comprehensive travel and medical insurance (Gold benefits) All our interns participants are automatically insured under our travel and medical insurance allowing you to live and travel safe in Shanghai. +Escorted transfers to and from the airport at arrival and departure Our program coordinator will be waiting for you at the airport upon arrival in Shanghai. After warmly welcoming you, you will be escorted to your housing. A brief program introduction followed by a tour of your residential area will be organised. You will also be able to meet other program participants upon arrival. +Assistance with required visa formalities and residence registration upon arrival All requested documents will be sent to you a few weeks before your arrival so that you are able to obtain your Chinese visa in your country of residence prior arrival. You will also be taken to the nearest police station upon arrival in Shanghai in order to get your temporary residence permit.. +Introduction to your company coordinator during your first day of work You will be escorted from your housing to your work place on your first internship day to make a smooth introduction between your company coordinator and yourself. +Visa extension service NSC offers visa extension services to help you renew your visa in China if needed. +International phone card + pre-paid Chinese sim card You will be able to use our international phone card to call home, and immediately make use of your cell phone with our prepaid chinese sim card.
+Transportation card A pre-paid transportation card which can be used in taxis, buses and metros will also be handed at that time. +Involvement in fun social, cultural and professional events organized by Next Step Connections during your placement, A great time to meet newly arrived participants, and to get to know everyone better, art exhib, talks, nights out, excursions. Our coordinators will organise events throughout your program. +FREE Chinese lessons: 12 hours/month of tutoring You will be given the opportunity to take up to 12 hours per month of Mandarin with one of our private teachers. It is a great opportunity to learn the #1 spoken language in the world!
