On February 25, 2015, two delegates from Next Step Connections (NSC), the founder, Jerome Le Carrou and William Toh, director, business advisory, visited Panyapiwat Insitute of Management (PIM) main campus in Bangkok.
Panyapiwat Institute of Management is a Corporate University receiving direct funding from CP All Public company Limited, established in 1988 by the Charoen Pokphand group to operate the convenience store business in Thailand under the 7-eleven trademark.
Panyapiwat Institute of Management focuses on Work Based Learning allowing students to focus on practical aspects of education as much as academic and theoretical knowledge. Students graduating from PIM have opportunity to work at CP All PLC and its partners.
The delegates from NSC visited the impressive facilities and were given an overview of the outstanding programs by a team composed of key senior executives from both PIM and CP ALL. NSC was also given the opportunity to share its unique approach to organising internships for Businesses, interns and institutions.
“We learned so much from the sharing together with PIM’s mission in transforming the higher institutional learning into work based application! This was an experience both of us will long remember and from which of both us personally benefited” said William Toh.
Ms. Parichart Buakao, Director of Organization Communication Office at PIM concluded: “We see a lot of opportunities working and cooperating with NSC ”.
